Hi! I am Allyson Schmitt. 

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the clinical supervision of Kelly Martin, MEd, LPC-S, RPT-S. I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Art in Psychology and from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2025 with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My professional journey has been influenced by my work as a Behavior Specialist and Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) where I found my passion for working with children and adolescents. 

I grew up in Colorado but have spent the last 6 years in Lubbock. My hobbies include spending time in nature, cooking, and yoga. I also love spending time with my friends, family, and tabby cat, Lucky. 

As a LPC Associate under the clinical supervision of Kelly Martin, MEd, LPC-S, RPT-S, my goal is to provide a space where children feel seen, heard, and supported in reaching their fullest potential. Through a Child Centered Play Therapy approach, I hope to empower children alongside collaborating with and supporting parents.
