We are seeking multiple child therapists and a yoga instructor for children to join our established practice to provide optimal and relational services to the community in Lubbock, TX.

Strategy

Guided by a neurorelational approach, clients will discover meaning through connection in play therapy, counseling, parent consultations, DIR Floortime, parent child therapy, Yoga Calm for Kids, and collaborative care. 

We provide evidence based mental health practices and interventions; licensed or certified clinicians; counselor supervision and consultation; appropriately equipped therapy rooms (or "Playrooms"); a facility designed with children and adolescents in mind.

Position: Licensed Mental Health Clinician/Associate Clinician for Child/Play Therapy Clients

Part-time (12-25 hours/week) positions open

Provide counseling, play therapy, and parent consultations to clients.

Write clinical notes and maintain confidential client files.

Pay rate: between $25-$50/hour dependent upon training, experience, and licensure level

This is a W-2 employee position that pays per client hour. Clinical and administrative rates available

What we require:

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in a behavioral science degree and current mental health Texas state licensure (LPC/LMFT/LMSW; LPC Associates and LMFT Associates will be considered.)

  • At least one year experience as a child and adolescent therapist preferred (Graduate internships and practicums will be considered as experience)

  • Clinicians must be willing to counsel and work with children, pre-adolescents, and parents.

  • Applicants must have at least 12 APT approved Continuing Education hours of foundational play therapy training (a4pt.org) or 6 university graduate credits

  • Clinicians will be using play therapy approaches and must be willing to further their training in play therapy.

  • Clinicians must operate from a neurorelational approach within their theoretical orientation.

  • Both in person and Telehealth counseling

Position: Yoga Instructor for Children

Part time W2 Employee position (1-3 hours/week)

Teach 45 minute Yoga Calm for Kids classes at our Playroom Lubbock yoga studio

Must be available late afternoons, evenings, or weekends during the school year. During the summer, yoga class times may be more flexible.

Pay rate: $20/hour

What we Require

2+ years experience working with children

Prior yoga teacher training

Eagerness and commitment to learn Yoga Calm for Kids
